Our Vn96 synthetic peptide technology is available as a research kit through our partner, New England Peptide
The METM Kit for Extracellular Vesicle Isolation
- Specific and rapid isolation of extracellular vesicles (exosomes and microvesicles) in as little as 45 minutes
- No ultracentrifugation
- Works for multiple sample types. (Plasma, Urine, Cell culture media, etc.)
- Can be modified to fit your specific needs. (Multiple chemistries, added to beads, etc.)
- Comes complete with positive and negative control
ORDERHow the METM Kit works
The Vn96 peptide reagent (US Patent # 8,956,878, EU Patent # 2688904) is designed to bind specifically to canonical Heat Shock Proteins (HSPs) on EVs. Our product binds to EVs in minutes, forming a precipitate easily isolated using a standard benchtop centrifuge. Once collected, the EVs can be used in multiple assay types.

Possible downstream applications using the ME Kit:
- Nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA)
- Nucleic acid isolation: DNA, RNA, miRNA
- Next Generation Sequencing
- Proteomics
- Structural studies (EM or AFM)
- Metabolomics
- Fluorescent labeling of EVs
- Cellular uptake and microscopy
- EV-mediated cellular tranformation assay
